For a shutdown or restart button:

1. After extracting the files, drag the two shortcuts into your object dock bar.

2. Right-click on the icon and go to "Dock Entry Properties"

3a. In the Title line, name it what you want (by default they're "shutdown.exe" and "restart.exe").

3b. If you have Windows installed on your C drive, you're fine. If not, change the drive letter in the "Link" window to whatever drive you have windows on.

3c. In the Arguments line, type:

"-s -t 0" (without the quotes) for the shutdown icon.

"-r -t 0" (without the quotes) for the restart icon.

NOTE!!!!! on both, the last character is a ZERO!

4. Finally, choose the icon of your liking and presto! No more needing the start menu!

Thanks go to Redmare for helping me realize my instructions were a bit off. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had Aquadock installed, not Object Dock.
